Modern man and his attempts to keep his faith (part one) الإنسان الحديث ومحاولاته للحفاظ على إيمانه (الجزء الأول)

 الشَّيْطَانُ يَعِدُكُمُ الْفَقْرَ وَيَأْمُرُكُم بِالْفَحْشَاءِ ۖ وَاللَّهُ يَعِدُكُم مَّغْفِرَةً مِّنْهُ وَفَضْلًا ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ (268) سورة البقره 

يعدكم الشيطان البخل واختيار الرديء للصدقة من الشيطان الذي يخوفكم الفقر، ويغريكم بالبخل، ويأمركم بالمعاصي ومخالفة الله تعالى، والله سبحانه وتعالى يعدكم على إنفاقكم غفرانًا لذنوبكم ورزقا واسعا. والله واسع الفضل، عليم بالأعمال والنيَّات.

نعلم أن الفقر يولّد الخوف، ومن خلال الخوف، يولّد الوسواس والأفكار المتكررة غير المرغوب فيها بغض النظر عن مدى إغراء الشر في وعوده. فمآله وثمنه ليسا سوى الذل المطلق، والفقر، وفقدان الذات، إذ يحوّلك إلى خنزير، إلى قرد، إلى كائن بلا وعي، لا يبالي بالعواقب (إن استمرت هذه الأمور). إلا أن هناك دومًا أبوابًا وأدوات تمنع غيرهم من السقوط. فالوقاية خير من العلاج، إلا أن كل داء، في كل الأحوال، يحتاج إلى دواء، لا سيما أدواء الروح والنفس والذات.

في سعيي للبحث عن علاج في عالمٍ نسي أثر الانحراف عن الطريق المستقيم، وقعتُ على أحد أعظم الكتب التي كُتبت على الإطلاق، ومن أعظم ما قرأت في حياتي: “الداء والدواء”. فلا عالم نفس، ولا كتاب من كتب تطوير الذات، يمكن أن يضاهي هذا العمق الفكري، وهذا الاكتمال شبه التام، وهذه الفعالية في إرشاد الإنسان لطريق الخروج من الذنب. ولا عيب في الوقوع في الذنب، لكن المجاهرة به، والإصرار على إنكاره وعدم الاعتراف به، ليست إلا نمط حياة فاسدًا لا يليق بأي إنسان يحترم نفسه. فإن كنت حقًا تُقدّر الخلق وتُعظّم الله سبحانه وتعالى، فإن السعي إلى التوبة والاستغفار من أعظم ما يمكنك فعلة لتطهير قلبك و كسر كبريائك

 سأحاول جاهدًا أن أُلخّص أهم ما تعلمته من هذه السلسلة. أعتقد أن الإنسان الحديث تائه، يُسرق منه وقته واهتمامه، ويُغذّى بروايات زائفة. الوقت يمضي، والشباب يُستَغَفّلون لتمجيد حريات زائفة، حريات تجعلهم عبيدًا لشهواتهم، إنسانًا بلا قيود، بلا أخلاق، بلا ضبط للنفس، وبلا إله. أصبح كل شيء مُجَنسنًا بشكل مبالغ فيه ، ولم يعد أحد يعرف حقيقة نفسه. علينا جميعًا واجب إعادة توازن بوصلتنا، أن نتذكر لماذا نحن هنا، وأن نبقى في ذكرٍ دائم بأن هذه الحياة ليست إلا لمحة تساوي حبة رمل يمكن أن تُهلكنا أو تُنجينا.

نعيش وهم الخيار اللانهائي، ووهم أن هناك محاولات لا حصر لها، وسط أيديولوجيا جديدة سرطانية فاسدة تَعِد بحيوات متعددة، تروي للناس قصة تُرضي غرورهم فتُفسد تصورهم عن الخالق. إنهم يستهزئون بالخلق، ويُغلّفونه بغلاف الحداثة والتقدم، ويصفون كل رأي مخالف بالتطرف. لقد ضللنا الطريق، وعلينا أن نبقى في ذكرٍ دائم لمفترق طرقنا، ولمكاننا في الآخرة، وللوقت المحدود لكن الثمين الذي نملكه في هذه الحياة الدنيا. إن أعظم اختبار لنا هو ألا ننسى عدونا أبدًا، وألا ننسى غايتنا أبدًا.

فحين خُلق آدم وحواء، قيل لهما: ﴿وَقُلْنَا يَا آدَمُ اسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنْهَا رَغَدًا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلَا تَقْرَبَا هَٰذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ﴾ (سورة البقرة: 35). أظن أننا يجب أن نتذكر أمر الله العلي القدير: لا تقتربا حتى، فللشيطان حِيَله. فقد رُوي عن النبي ﷺ، فيما رواه البخاري ومسلم، أنه قال: «إنَّ الشَّيطانَ يجري من ابنِ آدمَ مجرَى الدَّمِ». ويُقصد بالحديث مدى قرب وسوسة الشيطان من الإنسان وإحاطته به من كل جانب. هكذا يكون سُمّه فتّاكًا؛ فما إن تعبر إلى أرضه حتى يختلط عليك كل شيء، فلا تعود تميّز أفكارك من أفكاره.

لا تستهن أبدًا بقدرته على إهلاكك، فهو هنا لغاية واحدة، وأنت أيضًا هنا لغاية واحدة: مهمته هلاكك، ومهمتك العودة إلى الجنة التي كنت دومًا تنتمي إليها. ولا تظن أبدًا أنك في مأمن من الابتلاءات، لقوله تعالى: ﴿يُضِلُّ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ﴾ (سورة النحل: 93). ففي المُحصلة، تبقى أمثال الحياة وأسرارها غيبًا عنا، ومكنوناتها كلها بيد الله وحده. فلا تدع الروحانيات الحديثة تستدرجك بطُعم “المعرفة الخفية”، فالله هو العليم بكل شيء، وما أراد لك أن تعلمه موجود في كتابه، وما مَنَعك من الاقتراب منه فهو إما من رجس الشيطان أو من ضرر.

هذه مجرد مقدمة سأحوّلها إلى سلسلة، وسأبذل قصارى جهدي لأُعبّر عمّا تعلمته، آملةً أن أُفيد جميع قرّائي

“Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Himself and bounty. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.” (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:268)

We know poverty produces fear, and through fear, obsessiveness and repetitive unwanted thoughts regardless of how tempting evil makes its promises. The demise of it, the cost, is nothing but absolute humiliation, poverty, and the loss of the self, turning you into a swine, an orangutan, inhuman without consciousness and uncaring of consequences (if such things continued). However, there are always doors and tools to prevent the breeds from falling. Protection is better than medicine; however, in each case, all illness needs a cure, especially those of the soul, the spirit, and the self.

 In my attempt to find a cure in a world that has forgotten the impact of diverging from our path, I stumbled upon one of the greatest books ever written ‘الداء والدواء’ and one of the greatest I have ever read. No psychologist, nor any self-help book, could match this intellectually complex, nearly complete, and effective way of finding your way out of sin. And there is no shame in sinning; however, flaunting it, refusing to admit it, and refusing to acknowledge it is nothing but a corrupt way of living no dignified being should allow this. If you truly value creation and Allah SWT, striving for repentance and forgiveness is one of the greatest things you can do to cleanse your heart and shrink your ego.

Modern man is lost, he’s being robbed of his time, his attention; he’s being fed false narratives. Time is ticking, and the youth are being manipulated into glorifying false freedoms — freedoms that make them slaves to desire, to a version of humanity with no constraints, no morals, no self-control, and no God. Everything has been overtly sexualized, and no one knows who they are anymore. We all have a duty to reestablish our pendulum, to remember why we are here, to remain in constant remembrance that this life is nothing but a flicker of sand that could either destroy us or save us.

We are living under the illusion of infinite choice, the illusion that there are infinite attempts, fed by a new ideology, cancerous and corrupt, that promises multiple lives. It tells people a story crafted to flatter their ego, ruining their perception of the Creator. They mock creation, package it as modernity and progress, and brand any opposing opinion as extremism. We have lost sight of our path. We must remain in remembrance of our forking path, our place in the hereafter, and the limited yet precious time we have in this human existence. Our greatest test is our ability to never forget the enemy, and to never forget our purpose.

When Adam and Eve were created, they were told: “And We said, ‘O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat freely from it wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers.’” (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:35). I think we must remember the Almighty’s command: do not even go near it, for the devil has his tricks. As narrated by Bukhari and Muslim, the Prophet ﷺ said: “Indeed, Satan runs through the son of Adam as blood runs [through the body].” This hadith speaks to how close Satan’s whispering is to man, and how thoroughly it surrounds him. This is how potent his poison is, once you have crossed into his territory, everything blurs, and you no longer know which thoughts are your own and which are his.

Never underestimate his power to destroy you. He is here for one purpose, and so are you: his mission is your demise; yours is to return to the Paradise to which you have always belonged. Never think yourself immune to setbacks, for He, the Exalted, says: “He sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills” (Surah An-Nahl, 16:93). In the grand scheme of things, the parables of life remain unknown to us; the mysteries of life and its secrets rest entirely in Allah’s hand. Do not let modern spiritualism ensnare you with the bait of “hidden knowledge.”

This is just an introduction that I will turn into a series, I’ll do my best to articulate what I’ve learned and hopefully benefit all my readers
